Re: Connexion Resident Feedback Group Kick-Off
Bottom Line:
The Connexion team has reconvened a resident Board made up mainly of the previously involved
broadband resident committee. The purpose of this group and the reconvening will be to serve as a
sounding board for Connexion efforts, issues, and ideas going forward.
The first meeting of the group took place November 7, 2022 and focused on the current status and daily
operations. The group was very receptive and agreed to an every-other month meeting cadence. Future
meeting topics will focus on marketing, products, and operations.
Background:
An August 4, 2022 Council memo recommended reconvening the resident group that was established
during the feasibility phase of Connexion (2016-2017). Of the 16 invites sent, seven previous members
accepted. Additional invites were sent to residents not previously involved and 2 accepted. This group
will be a great resource for feedback as Connexion matures. Some of these members are currently
Connexion customers and some are not.
Group members include Tim Tilson, David Edwards, Glen Akins, Phil Jenson, Kevin Kiern, Nick Haws,
Pam Weber, Hank Galbreath, and Royce Simpson. The majority of this group has experience in
telecommunications.
