The purpose of this memorandum is to provide City Council with a copy of the City of Fort Collins Recovery Plan
Spanish.
Throughout the plan development process, the Recovery Team worked to ensure that the engagement process
was as inclusive as possible. Through paid engagement partnerships and additional engagement best practices,
the Recovery Team heard from those in the community who were especially impacted by the pandemic, including
Latinx/Hispanic, Spanish-speaking, lower-income, those experiencing homelessness, those living in manufactured
housing and LGBTQIA+ community members. Engagement surveys, meetings, and results were available in print
and electronic versions in both English and Spanish during all parts of plan development, and the City is committed
to ensuring that the entirety of Recovery Plan is accessible in Spanish.
Due to a delay in the copy editing and design process, the Spanish publication of the Plan was not completed by
the submittal deadline for March 1 Council meeting materials. The Spanish publication of the City of Fort Collins
Recovery Plan can be found online here.
