RE: State ARPA Funding Application PowerPoint Presentation
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide City Council with PowerPoint presentation slides for the State
American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Funding Application Process.
After meeting with the ocal Affairs (DOLA), Office of Economic Development
and International Trade (OEDIT), and regional leaders, staff has requested time to update Council on identified
initial funding opportunities identified late last week (November 19, 2021). Due to the aggressive timeline,
preliminary proposals that are due by December 13, 2021, with applications due by January 13, 2022.

Regional ARPA Meeting ObjectiveBrainstorm big ideas that could be part of a Northern Colorado application to the state, as well as opportunities to align resources.Key Items to Explore:• Centralized and decentralized approaches (application, services, etc.)• One-time capital investment trigger of ongoing operation and maintenance costs• Overall costs• State would like to fund 10 – 15 projects, estimated around $120M per project• Access and equity at the forefront • How do we ensure this meets the need of our local community while also supporting the greater community?
