Dear Board Members:
On behalf of City Council, thank you for providing us with the September 20, 2021
memorandum regarding “Drive-thru commercial uses: Concerns, Considerations” wherein the
Board encouraged the City to implement emergency safety measures in the short term, and to
regulate development of drive-thru commercial uses when updating the Land Use Code in the
longer term.
We appreciate your perspectives on this important topic of safety for motorists near drive-thru
businesses.
