RE: 2020 Transfort Year in Review Report
This memo is intended to transmit the 2020 Transfort Year in Review Report to City Council.
While this report will look different than in years past, the report gives an overview of
response to the Coronavirus pandemic as well as key accomplishments
throughout the year.
Highlights of 2020:
Reliable service maintained throughout the pandemic.
The launch of the Have a Heart Yield to the Bus campaign.
Purchase of electric vehicles and associated charging infrastructure.
Awarded funding for the West Elizabeth corridor design and the North College
Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) study.
