• Chair Statement about COVID and remote meeting:
The Committee has conferred with the City Manager and the City Attorney,
and through them with the Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem and based on that has
determined that the Committee should conduct this meeting remotely because
meeting in person would not be prudent for some or all persons due to the
current public health emergency.

Meeting called to order at 4:03am
Approval of Minutes:
Emily Gorgol moved to approve March minutes. Susan Gutowsky seconded. Motion passed
unanimously. 3-0-0.
Chairman Comments: None
Summary
• Mayor Jeni Arndt was selected as the new chair of the Futures committee
• It was agreed that the Futures committee will continue to be the second Monday of every month
from 4-6pm
• An overview of the Futures committee was provided by Jackie Kozak-Thiel
• The committee brainstormed topics that they would like to bring to the Futures committee
• Action: Staff will consolidate the various topics brainstormed during this Futures meeting and
bring to the next meeting so the committee can prioritize which topics they would like to have
scheduled first
