Re: Update on Posting Materials Related to the Disposable Bag Ordinance
The purpose of this memo is to provide Council with an update on how links to Council materials related
to the Disposable Bag Ordinance have been posted on City websites and how searchability of this
content has been improved.
1. Posting to City sites
Links have been posted on OurCity and cross-posted through the Recycling page to
help the community find Council materials related to the Disposable Bag Ordinance.
o Links also indicate the page number where attachments are listed for easier
referencing.
2. Improved searchability
Google returns the OurCity page as one of the top five results.
After initial challenges, the search function has been updated to return the OurCity
page as the first result.
