Dear Chair Tribby and Board Members:
On behalf of City Council, thank you for providing us with the January 25, 2021 memorandum
regarding “Air Quality Award Recognitions” wherein you summarized the recent
acknowledgements for the City’s efforts within the Parks Department, the Fleet changes that
made the City’s fleet a ‘green fleet’, various City staff’s hard work and enthusiasm, and Lucinda
Smith’s 24 years of climate action planning and implementation.
We all breathe easier in Fort Collins because of the work of these remarkable individuals and
programs, and City Council continues to be honored to champion these goals. We greatly
appreciate the work of the AQAB which enables us all to enjoy healthy air quality in our
wonderful community.
