Due to the rapidly changing landscape of the COVID-19 pandemic, earlier
this week it was determined that it would be best to reschedule the
BOLDERBoulder from it's traditional Memorial Day date.
We proposed and worked with CSU, CU, the Cities of Fort Collins and
Boulder, for the FORTitude 10K to join the BOLDERBoulder, for a
combined, and distinctive10K road race on Labor Day, September 7,
2020.
FORTitude 10K will join the BOLDERBoulder on the BB10K course so that
we can run together, in Boulder, Colorado.
This is uncharted territory for our team. FORTitude 10K and
BOLDERBoulder are very closely connected. We nurtured and love both
races. While each is unique, at their core, both share an element of
boldness and toughness that is expressed in a common passion for
running.
Everyone we met with recognizes that while the two communities may
compete in many areas, this is an example of coming together,
collaborating to make an event that is special and so important in these
challenging times.
There are still so many details to work through but we do know this:
1. If you have already registered for the FORTitude 10k your race
package will automatically rollover.
2. The FORTitude 10k will return to Fort Collins on Labor Day 2021.
We know you will have many questions, and we will address those
in the next few weeks as well as sharing some of our BOLD new
ideas. So please stay tuned through email, Facebook,
Instagram, Twitter, and our Strava training group.
In the meantime, if you have any questions, email

as we can.
Registration for the Labor Day race will reopen on March 31st.
We look forward to running with you on Labor Day to Run BOLDER with
FORTitude!
