The Transportation Commission approved funding for North I-25 today: $250M for segment 7&8 - Express Lanes on permanent EIS alignment (CO 402 to CO 14) $20M for segment 5&6 BUILD grant funding commitment, Express lanes on permanent EIS alignment (CO56 to CO 402) Appreciate the continued advocacy by the North I-25 Coalition and NFRMPO to help advance this important project over the years. Today’s funding approval is a big step forward and keeps the positive momentum going. Please join me in thanking CDOT Executive Director Shoshana Lew, Rebecca White, RTD Heather Paddock, and my colleagues on the Transportation Commission for their leadership to provide this funding for North I25 and to honor the prior commitments to the Northern Colorado stakeholders. I look forward to working with you all to continue seeking the remaining funds needed to complete the vital North I25 corridor improvements to serve our Northern Colorado communities, commuters, and people moving good and service to/from our state.
