Fort Collins Utilities also provided 185 million gallons of water wholesale to West Fort Collins Water District. Unbilled use and system losses add up to 543 million gallons. Water Conservation programs and services cost less than a penny per gallon saved. Program Savings per Year (millions of gallons) Savings increased 55% from 2017 Water Efficiency Plan Goal Reduce community use to an average of 130 gallons per person per day by 2030, which means using 10% less over the next 10 years.
