Thank you also for taking time to meet with me in person recently to discuss your thoughts. We appreciate you sharing your perspective on this important topic and the Board’s detailed recommendations including shifting .60 of the .85 KFCG rate to the base tax, proposing a .25 permanent dedicated tax for O&M of parks and recreation programs and facilities, considering increasing the overall tax burden on the community, and thinking strategically about linking planning efforts with funding opportunities.
