This will be shared with all City ditch board representatives. Nature in the City/Forestry Input On November 2, PVLCC representatives (including the two City Board members) walked the entire 2019 work area, along with Forestry and Nature in the City staff. The walk-through discussion resulted in saving some large and fruit-bearing trees and bushes that provide good wildlife habitat and minimize future ditch maintenance issues. In addition, a dialogue is now established between the PVLCC representatives and Nature in the City/Forestry staff. They plan to walk future work areas of the ditch in the spring of 2019 (and beyond) to minimize impacts and maintain Nature in the City principles along the ditch.
