After over a year of planning with CSU staff, Transfort launched special transit service as a key component for moving game attendees to and from the new CSU on-campus stadium. This included enhanced MAX service, a South Campus shuttle, ADA shuttle, and West Campus shuttle. With frequent service and a convenient drop-off location right on campus, riders were able to enjoy a complete game day experience. 2018 PROGRESS AND LOOK AHEAD Transfort is looking forward to new and strengthened partnerships in 2018, and continuing initiatives such as the “Stuff the Bus” event. In partnership with Homeless Gear and local businesses, Transfort buses were at several locations accepting donations to help those in need. Transfort is also looking to strengthen its partnership with RamRide to cross-promote RamRide’s free rides and the Gold Route late-night shuttle service. Transfort continues to collaborate closely with CSU and ASCSU on transit services and is already working on how to make Game Day service even better for attendees. On the horizon for the rest of 2018 and beyond include mobile ticketing and electric buses. Mobile ticketing would provide a convenient, pay by smart phone option for single ride tickets or longer passes. Several options are being explored for the purchase of electric buses, and could come on line as early as 2019.
