Retiree Medical Anticipated Cost
Add .25% to Retirement Health Savings (RHS) $50,000 annually
Convert 10% of sick leave balance at year end to
RHS

Other Contract Provisions
• Uniforms & Equipment – added purchase of Level 3A body armor at Agency expense &
changed boot reimbursement from $80/year to $160 every other year
• Grievance hearings – limits the number of employee representatives that may present
information to a grievance hearing officer

If Council ratifies, new contract goes into effect on Jan. 1, 2018
