For the item regarding the Residential Parking Permit Program (RP3), it was noted that staff is recommending a $100 fine for violations. City Attorney Daggett explained that this is the maximum fine that can be collected for a parking fine. Staff is asked to consider what triggers a review of the parking fine schedule. The LPT discussed 365 bus service and how to best approach future discussions about transit service levels. 365 service would be considered a base level rather than a pilot program. City Manager Atteberry received a letter from Dr. Tony Frank, outlining CSU’s priorities for bus service. Mr. Atteberry stated that the City’s Transit Plan will consider CSU’s transportation needs, and needs to occur prior to spring, 2018 to align with CSU’s fiscal calendar. Staff has determined that parking can be increased with angled parking. There will be more to come on this item. City Manager Atteberry discussed: 1. The activities held this weekend (Memorial Day event and Odell’s Small Batch Festival) went well. 2. It has been recommended that the City not purchase the Windy Gap units. 3. Emails have been sent to Councilmembers from Gregg Leverett. Mr. Leverett has stated he will be coming to a future Council meeting to discuss his concerns. 5.
