The Old Town Neighborhoods Plan is a combined update of the 1980s Eastside and Westside Neighborhood Plans and provides a renewed neighborhood vision and policy guidance related to neighborhood land-use, housing, transportation, and sustainability. Consider staff’s recommendation for the City and the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District (Northern Water) to discuss and explore mutual interests pertaining to the Northern Integrated Supply Project (NISP). City staff would meet with Northern Water to discuss the City’s key goals and issues related to NISP, while regularly reporting to City Council. If mutual interests can potentially be met, City staff would be authorized to negotiate draft agreements that would be presented to Council for its formal approval. Solar Affordability Program (consent) Implementation of the rate ordinance in support of the Solar Affordability Program, providing bill and efficiency benefits to specific eligible income qualified customers. Review of the status of funded initiatives, how far these initiatives go toward achieving the 2020 goals, and additional initiatives to continue progress toward the goals. Meeting Info Agenda Item The purpose of this item is to… Appropriation of Transportation Fund Reserves The appropriation of Transportation Fund reserves (~$450,000) to remit to Larimer County to be used for local match towards I-25 improvements in Northern Colorado.  Transportation- 6.4 Improve traffic flow to benefit both individuals and the business community. Requesting appropriation of $1.1M in local matching funds to Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) for the purpose of the North I-25 Improvements Project. (tentatively scheduled) The City of Fort Collins committed $2.2 million ($1.1M each year) of local funds in the 2017- 2018 budget for CDOT’s North I-25 Improvements Project. These funds, in addition to other local matching funds from Fort Collins and Northern Colorado agencies, provide $25 million to help accelerate improvements to I-25 by as many as fifteen years.  Transportation- 6.4 Improve traffic flow to benefit both individuals and the business community. May 30 5th Tuesday June 6 Regular New Downtown Hotel Parking Structure (First Reading) City Council adopted a resolution in 2015 instructing the City Manager to execute a Construction and Purchase agreement to construct a parking structure in partnership with the proposed Downtown Hotel project. This ordinance will approve as to form various documents and authorize certain City officials to execute those documents in order to acquire the City’s portion of the parking structure. Meeting Info Agenda Item The purpose of this item is to… Introduction to Organized Electric Markets Platte River Power Authority (PRPA) staff is participating with a group of six other regional utilities, the Mountain West Transmission Group, as they examine the benefits of forming an organized market for a region that covers most of Colorado and portions of Arizona, New Mexico, Wyoming, and South Dakota. The market would include a common regional transmission tariff and market rules that would facilitate buying and selling electricity across the region.
