Staff worked with our City Planning Department and the Parks Planning department to develop the mailing list for the area. Jon Haukaas presented on behalf of the City of Fort Collins with Fred Haberecht and Laura Bentley representing CSU. Approximately a dozen residents attended the meeting. The meeting began with the City Council October 18, 2016 presentation, authorizing the conveyance of a permanent Stormwater easement on City Property to CSU. CSU then reviewed the construction schedule and the potential regional trail connector that would be accommodated with the project. The majority of questions were on the limits of the project and the future trail connections. Kurt Friesen, Director of Park Planning was in attendance in the audience, and he did not have any questions directed to him. The overall tone of the meeting was very positive.
