To: Honorable Mayor and Members of the City Council
Darin Atteberry, City Manager 7 t
From: Julia D. Novak, Retreat Facilitator
Re: Retreat Preparation and Agenda
I look forward to being with you all on April 2. The meeting will provide an opportunity for the
Mayor and Council to discuss emerging priorities in the context of the strategic plan and your
upcoming 2017-2018 Budget process.
In preparation for our session on April 2 you will spend time together in a work session on
March 22 reviewing proposed updates to the strategic plan. That and your current priorities
provide the backdrop for you to consider new priorities and initiatives.
A worksheet for you to use in brainstorming priorities is attached —you will recognize the
format from what we used in 2015.
