Please see the following information provided by Parks Supervisor Mike Calhoon in response to your inquiry: ~~~~~ The process of compiling all of the data in the varying configurations has been discussed during the review of this past season. Dr. Chet Moore has been working with a graduate student to analyze the data from the past 11 years. Unfortunately, this analysis takes an extended amount of time and will not be available today. This research is being done in conjunction with the work of the CSU statistician. As of now they are analyzing the four zone approach. This information will be reviewed by the TAC when available. ~~~~~ Regards, Debra Unger Executive Administrative Assistant City Manager’s Office 300 LaPorte Avenue P.O. When it was decided to provide Council a "menu" of options on items on which the TAC had not reached consensus, I suggested that staff provide Council with an analysis of previous years' trap data according to the options being presented. In other words, what would the implications have been if each of the options had been in place in 2004-2013? At what point in each of those years would we have reached the threshold for spraying if: * the VI threshold had been 0.5? 0.75? 1.0? * the VI threshold had been applied city wide? to 4 static zones? to "floating zones"? * city-wide human cases were included? excluded? I felt that this would have been a powerful decision-making tool for Council and it was unfortunately not put together by staff to my knowledge, but wanted to mention the idea in case it could be pursued in the future. -- Dana Kunze Founder, No Spray Fort Collins Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/NoSprayFortCollins 970-691-2017
