We have come a long way since the voters’ approved the Library District in 2006. The
Library District’s Board of Trustees are committed to providing for the interests of our
residents, practicing responsible fiscal management and delivering quality services. It
has been my pleasure to serve as the President of this Board for the last three years. In
that time we have accomplished numerous technology improvements, upgrades at Old
Town and Harmony Libraries, seen the rise in popularity of eBooks and taking part in
some wonderful programs that get to the core of our mission. Our thanks to the commu-
nity for believing so strongly in our public library and its future. The heart of the library
is you, our customers; we are looking forward to getting to know you better and to give
you what you need … we have knowledge, discovery and joy on loan.
- Mike Liggett, President
