SUBJECT: 2020 Metrics by Council District
In response to a request from leadership to provide Council with additional metrics about their
districts, the attached report was created to provide a socioeconomic and demographic
overview of Fort Collins and each Council District. The goal of these metrics is to provide a
better understanding of the unique profile of Council Districts, and how they compare to the
demographic makeup of Fort Collins as a whole. Metrics in the report include population size,
income level, educational attainment, housing and poverty rates. Please note the footnotes in
the report, as they explain important details regarding the data.
Updated versions of this report will be provided at the beginning of each new Council term and
future versions of the report may include additional data sources, although not all metrics are
updated on the same cadence. Please let us know if you have any questions or feedback.
