Three tours have been conducted so far and nine more tours are scheduled throughout May. Staff have been receiving feedback through the online comment card and the virtual session in April that more engagement opportunities are desired. Staff intends to utilize additional digital tools to broaden community outreach and schedule additional events in June. Walking Tours Neighborhood walking tours focused on how the Land Use Code could be applied to typical residential lots are underway. The tours last between 2-3 hours and the typical format has included visiting a specific lot to discuss possible options under the current Land Use Code, what would have been allowed under the repealed code (the “Land Development Code”), answering questions, and discussing any thoughts, ideas, and concerns. Attendees have been encouraged to complete a detailed post-tour survey to allow staff to capture, in detail, remaining questions, reflections, and ideas. Three tours have been conducted so far:  Observatory Village (Council District 3)  Parkwood East (Council District 1)  Fox Creek (Council District 4) Each tour was well attended. Nine more tours are currently scheduled through May. Additional Outreach  A robust team of staff members from Planning, Communications & Public Involvement, Social Sustainability, Neighborhood Services, and City Manager’s Office have developed materials and events intended to engage community members and to gather feedback, questions, and interest regarding the future of their neighborhoods. Specific dates and times will be posted on the webpage and included in Council materials for the May 23rd Council work session as soon as details are finalized. Next Steps  Staff are planning more engagement opportunities, both virtual and in-person, to accommodate community interest.  Staff will continue to listen to community feedback, answer questions, and continue outreach efforts to engage a diversity of perspectives across the community.  An engagement summary is planned for June to allow community members, staff, and Councilmembers the ability to understand a range of perspectives shared across various platforms and events related to this project.  Analysis and potential trade-offs of different policy choices will be presented at the Council Work Session in July. Upcoming Council Touchpoints:  May 23rd Work Session: Present feedback received so far and explore potential code revisions/alternatives  July 31st Work Session: Present engagement summary, discuss potential code revisions and analysis of alternatives  August 22nd Work Session: Present draft code amendments DocuSign Envelope ID: 0C5CB891-CAD7-457C-B724-10781D627165
