SUBJECT: Follow-up from Recovery Plan Implementation Staff Report
As a follow up to the Recovery Plan Implementation Staff Report on Tuesday, February 28, staff was
asked to provide clarification about data included in the 2022 Impact Report from Senior Alternatives In
Transportation (SAINT). There was also an ask to ensure metrics and impacts reflect only ARPA-funded
initiatives, rather than entire programs funded with multiple sources.
In 2022, 10 organizations were awarded funding through the Social Services Recovery Progra m,
including SAINT. SAINT provides door-to-door transportation for older adults and adults with disabilities.
SAINT provides transportation through volunteers who use their own vehicles and receive mileage
reimbursement. Additional review of reporting from SAINT about the use of their received ARPA funds
confirmed the metrics included in the report are accurate; ARPA funds supported 12,255 rides (each ride
is a one-way trip, so 6,127 round-trip rides) to 289+ Fort Collins residents.
Staff will continue to work closely with subrecipients to report only metrics and data that reflect ARPA-
funded initiatives and provide clear context in future reports for exactly what funds supported.
