Subject: Land Conservation and Stewardship Board input on 1041 Moratorium
and Oil & Gas Regulations
This memo is to provide City Council with an update on two issues discussed at the Land

scheduled to be discussed at the November 15, 2022, City Council meeting.
Brief Summary
LCSB got a brief overview of the Oil and Gas Regulations that will be on First Reading at City
Council’s November 15th. LCSB passed the following motion regarding those regulations:

Natural Areas to the greatest extent possible through upcoming oil and gas regulation

following motion regarding the proposed project moratorium pending completion of 1041
regulations:
The Land Conservation and Stewardship Board recommends that City Council support

regulations.
