One of the intersections receiving focused attention from the FCPS Traffic Unit is Boardwalk & Harmony. Speeding interdiction has been conducted on several different days and have resulted in approximately 30 citations in a 6-hour span. College and Mulberry and the Old Town area was identified for a traffic interdiction event during the first half of August. This also resulted in several citations being written, some for more the 25 over the limit. A larger scale event is planned for the next 4-weeks. Sgt. Avrech and Justin Moore are creating a plan to team law enforcement with code compliance to monitor traffic noise and write citations for excessive noise. 5. Staff shifted gears to instead collect a baseline understanding of perceptions of xeriscape and soil amendment policies in Fort Collins. The project team has developed and published a public survey for this topic to understand: how the community values turfgrass and water-wise landscape aesthetics, landscape policies for residential vs. commercial properties, perceptions of artificial turf. The survey had a "soft launch" on Aug 20 at the Poudre River Fest.
