Staff Present: • Tyler Marr, Ginny Sawyer, DeAngelo Bowden, John Duval, Honore Depew, Michelle Finchum, John Phelan, Jennifer Cassell, and Ed Bowditch. 1. Approval of minutes from January 25, 2022 meeting a. Unanimous approval of minutes. 2. Bill Review a. Bills of Note: i. HB22-1106 – (Concealed Handguns on School grounds) Not expected to move forward. ii. HB22-1134 – (Measures to Reduce Single-use Meal Accessories) No longer active. iii. HB22-1152 – (Prohibit Employer Adverse Action Marijuana Use) May be turned into a task force. Historically, the City has opposed bills similar to this one. • Continue monitoring. iv. HB22-1159 – (Waste Diversion and Circular Economy Development Center) • Council Member Peel requested additional information. v. SB22-109 – (Prohibit Labor Actions Against Public Employers) No longer active. vi.
