The Ad Hoc Housing Committee was established by Resolution 2020-068 on July
21, 2020 with an overall purpose to support the development of the Housing

The committee is made up of three Councilmembers and will advise City Council
about potential future actions.

Resolution 2008-068. This authority was established to address regional
stormwater issues in the Boxelder Basin and to carry out the design, construction,
operation and maintenance of the improvements described in the Master Plan.
Per an IGA establishing the Boxelder Basin Regional Stormwater Authority, the City
is entitled to appoint one representative to the five-member BBRSA Board of
Directors, and to jointly appoint with Larimer County a second representative
(subject to limit on officer/employee appointments). (Resolution 2016-034 and
Resolution 2019-054) The current City appointee is Theresa Connor; the joint
City/County appointment was recently vacated due to resignation of Gerry Horak.

Disaster Council Section 2-669 of City Code defines this Council has having the duty and power to
develop and recommend for adoption by the City Council emergency and mutual
aid plans and agreements and such ordinances. It is responsible for the
development and adoption of the Emergency Operations Plan (and any
subsequent revisions). It is made up of the City Manager, Deputy City Manager,
the Mayor, the Emergency Management Coordinator and other staff.

Planning Council
Resolution 87-123 approved formation of the North Front Range Metropolitan
Planning Council to allow Fort Collins to work with other local governments in
Larimer and Weld Counties to develop transportation plans and policies that will
assist in managing projected growth in a sound, cost-effective manner. The
formation was required under Section 134 of Title 23, U.S.C., as amended, for the
use of Federal funds in transportation projects within US Census designated
urbanized areas. As well, Section 174 of the Clean Air Act, as amended, requires
that, for areas which have not attained national standards for carbon monoxide
and other designated pollutants, the State and officials of local government shall
jointing determine an implementation plan to bring the area into compliance.
Meetings are the 1st Thursday of every month, at 6:00 p.m.

Per an IGA with Poudre Valley Fire Protection District, provides for the
establishment of a governing board to administer the Poudre Fire Authority. The

Meetings are the 4th Tuesday of each month at 8:30 a.m., in

Resolution 2019-005. This Alliance is focused on providing interpretive and
educational programming and media that builds deeper understanding of the

entities, water entities and the public.

In 2018, Larimer County formed a Regional Transportation Coordination Task
Force, comprised of communities and stakeholders, to collaboratively address key
issues surrounding regional transportation needs. The City was asked to name an
elected official to a Policy Advisory Committee (and an employee to a related
technical advisory committee). The first appointment to this Committee was made
in Resolution 2018-014.
Meetings were quarterly but not consistent at this time. Wade Troxell

Per Resolution 2017-029 Council approved the Charter of this Committee, aimed
at furthering collaboration with other regional water providers, including
discussion of regionalization prospects and cooperation among water providers.
Council appointments were first made in 2016-049, and then were updated in June
Larimer County Water District, the Fort Collins-Loveland Water District, and the
North Weld County Water District.
Uncertain whether this committee is still meeting/needed.
