Oath of Office for Susan Gutowsky: Appointee to Council District 1 Seat. City Clerk Coldiron administered the Oath of Office to Susan Gutowsky as the District 1 Councilmember Appointee. 2. Executive. Session Authorized. (Adopted) Mayor Pro Tem Horak made a motion, seconded by Councilmember Stephens, that City Council go into executive session for the purpose of discussing the annual performance reviews of the Chief Municipal Judge, City Attorney, and City Manager and to receive related information as permitted under City Charter, Article 11, Section I l(1), Section 2-31(a)(1) of the City Code and the Colorado Revised Statutes 24-6(402)(4)(f)I. Mayor Pro Tem Horak suggested the Resolution simply state the ballot measure was citizen - initiated -rather than Council -initiated. Councilmember Martinez stated it is important for citizens to understand Council's position. Mayor Pro Tem Horak stated he does not want to interfere with a citizen -initiated measure. Councilmembers Stephens, Summers, and Gutowsky supported Mayor Pro Tem Horak's suggestion and Mayor Troxell directed staff to create such a resolution.
