MINUTES OF A CALLED MEETING OF THE COUNCIL HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN THE
CITY OF FORT COLLINS AT L:00 P.M. June 19, 1965..
Present: Councilmen Johnson, Carson, McMillan, Bennett and Councilwoman Quinn.
City Attorney March and City Manager Boos.
The meeting was called to order by the Mayor who announced that the meeting was
called to consider the resignation of Robert F. Boos as City Manager. Motion was made by
Councilman Bennett, seconded by Councilwoman Quinn, that the Council accept the resignation
of Robert F. Boos as City Manager as of June 19, 1965, with accrued pay and leave as shown
on the records. Roll was called resulting as follows: Ayes: Councilmen Johnson, Carson,
McMillan, Bennett and Councilwoman Quinn. Nayes: None. The President declared the motion
adopted.,
Motion was made by Councilman McMillan, seconded by Councilman Bennett, .that the
City Attorney be instructed to prepare a resolution acknowledging Robert F. Boost contribu-
tion to the City of Fort Collins during his term of City Manager and obtain a plague to be
presented to Mr. Boos, Roll was called resulting as follows: Ayes: Councilmen Johnson,
Carson, McMillan, Bennett and Councilwoman Quinn. Nayes: None. The President declared
the motion adopted.
Councilman
Motion was made by Councilman Carson, seconded by/Bennett, that Mr. Stanley Case
be appointed interim City Manager during the period necessary to obtain a new City Manager.
Roll was called resulting as follows: Ayes: Councilmen Johnson, Carson, McMillan, Bennett
and Councilwoman Quinn. Mayes: None. The President declared the motion adopted.
Motion was made by Councilman McMillan, seconded by Councilwoman Quinn, that the
Council adjourn. Roll was called resulting as follows: Ayes: Councilmen Johnson, Carson,
McMillan, Bennett and Councilwoman Quinn. Nayes: None. The President declared the motion
adopted, and the Council adjourned.
