Present: Councilmen Carson, Troxell and Kissock. City Manager Coffey, City Attorney March -and City Engineer Bingman. Absent: Councilmen Kruchten and Lopez, excused. Motion was made by Councilman Kissock, seconded by Councilman Troxell, that the reading of the minutes of the last regular meeting held August 7, 1969, be dispensed with. Roll was called resulting as follows: Ayes: Councilmen Carson, Troxell and Kissock. Absent: Councilmen Kruchten and Lopez, excused. Nayes: None. The Mayor declared the motion adopted. The following resolution was presented and read at length: y✓ RESOLUTION WHEREAS, UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY has tendered to .the CITY OF FORT COLLINS, State �.f Colorado, an agreement extending to and including September 13, 1974, the term of contract dated October 1, 1959, covering a 24-inch sanitary sewer pipe line on, along and across the right of way and under the track of the Railroad Company at Fort Collins, Colorado; said agreement being identified in the records of the Railroad Company as C.D. No. 386o6-1-B; and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has said proposed agreement before it and has given it careful review and consideration; and WHEREAS, it is considered that the best interests of said City of Fort Collins, State of Colorado, will be subserved by the acceptance of said agreement; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, STATE OF COLORADO: That the terms of the agreement submitted by the Union Pacific Rail- road Company as aforesaid be, and the same are hereby, accepted in behalf of said City; That the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized, empowered and dir- ected to execute said agreement on behalf of said City, and that the City Clerk of said City is hereby authorized and directed to attest said agreement and to attach to each du plicate original of said agreement a August 14-, 1969_ certified copy of this resolution. IqV Bids for Street Improvement District Nou 62, which appeared on the agenda, was tabled at the request of the City Attorney until an ordinance was initiated assessing the property owners in this district. Jones for Retail Liquor Store License came on for. hearing on the 17th day of July, 1969, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Fort Collins, Colorado, pursuant to notice duly given as required by law. The Authority hav,ing,heard the 'evidence intoroduced at said hearing, examined the documents introduced and having heretofore held a preliminary hearing and issued findings in writing on said preliminary hearing, now makes the following findings: 1.
