Adjourned Meeting - 1:00 P.M.
A regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort Collins
was held on Tuesday, June 13, 1978, at 1:00 p.m. in.the Council
Chambers in the City of Fort Collins City Hall. Roll call was
answered by the following Councilmembers: Bloom, Gray,-Suinn
and Wilkinson.
Absent: Councilmembers Bowling, Russell and St. Croix.
Staff Members Present: Arnold, Lanspery, Deagle and Lewis.
Collindale South,
Preliminary Plans - Approved
Following is the City Manager's memorandum on this item:
' This item was tabled June 6 so that we could further discuss the
development with the County Commissioners and the Urban Service
Area Committee."
Councilman Bloom made a motion, seconded by Councilwoman Gray
to approve the Collindale South, Preliminary Plans. Yeas: -
Councilmembers Bloom, Gray, Suinn and Wilkinson. Nays: None.
THE MOTION CARRIED
Executive Session Authorized
Councilman Bloom made a motion, seconded by Councilwoman Gray
to adjourn into executive session for the purpose of discussing
parkland acquisition. Yeas: Councilmembers Bloom„ Gray, Suinn
and Wilkinson. Nays: None.
THE MOTION CARRIED
Other Business
Councilman Bloom stated that last week he had voted "no" on the
resolution creating an Urban Renewal Authority. Since that time
he has recieved considerable input and criticism from the Public.
' He then stated he was not against doing something in the down-
town but he felt there were two issues: (1) how to do it and,
(2) what to do.

He then asked Council's serious review, not of the plan, but
of the machinery that we (Council) are setting up to accomplish '
that plan.
Councilman Arnold stated this item would come back at a future
work session.
Adjournment
Mayor Suinn declared the meeting adjourned at 1:40 p.m.
