COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO

Adjourned Meeting - 1:00 P.M.
An adjourned meeting of the Council of the City of Fort
Collins was held on Tuesday, January 9, 1979, at 1:00 p.m.
in the Council Chambers in the City of Fort Collins City
Hall. Roll call was answered by the following Council
members: Bloom, Bowling, Gray, St.. Croix, Suinn and Wil-
kinson.
(Secretary's Note: Councilman Russell arrived at 1:10 p.m.)
Staff Members Present: Arnold, Bingman, Deagle, Polifka,
Lanspery, Straayer, Liley.and Lewis.
Resolution Adopted Making
Appointments to Boards and Commissions
Following is the City Manager's memorandum on this item:
"Applications have been received and submitted to Council for
vacancies on the Cultural Resources -Board,. the 'Golf Board and
the _Human _.Relations Commission. Council now needs to make these
appointments." - --------------- -- ------
City Council then made the following appointments:

City Clerk Verna Lewis then read the Resolution at length.
Councilman Bloom made a motion,:seconded by Councilman Bowling,
to adopt the resolution. Yeas: Councilmembers Bloom, Bowling,
Gray', Russell, St. Croix, Suinn and Wilkinson. Nays: None.
THE MOTION CARRIED
Presentation on Status of City
Hall Completion
City Manager Arnold had requested that under other business,
Mr. David Parker, of Construction Inc., make a report on the
status of the New City Hall.
Mr. Parker responded to specific Council inquires regarding, the
solar system, the exterior brick cleaning, the concrete sidewalk
joints and the check off on the preliminary punch list and the
final punch ---.list issued approximately three weeks ago.
Councilmembers stated they would like another report after the
punch list is completed.
Work Session
Council then proceeded with the scheduled Work Session.
Executive Session Authorized
Councilman Bowling made a motion, seconded by Councilman Wilkin-
son to adjourn into executive session for the purpose of discus-
sing personnel matters. Yeas: Councilmembers Bloom, Bowling,
Gray, Russell, St. Croix, Suinn and Wilkinson. Nays: None.
