COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO
' Council -Manager Form of Government
Regular Meeting - 5:30 p.m.
A regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort Collins was held on
Tuesday, November 2, 1982, at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers in the City
of Fort Collins City Hall. Roll call was answered by the following Coun-
cilmembers: Cassell, Clarke, Elliott, Horak, Knezovich, Reeves and Wil-
marth.
Staff Members Present: Arnold, Huisjen, Meitl, Krajicek, Lewis.
Mayor Cassell called the meeting to order and asked the City Attorney to
explain the reason for the meeting.
City Attorney Huisjen noted that in order to be able to act on several
proposed bond ordinances on November 9, Council needed to adjourn this
meeting to a time specific on that date. Charter requirements will not
allow ordinances to be introduced at a special meeting.
Boards and Commissions Appointments
' Council agreed to hold interviews on the appointments to the various
vacancies to several Boards and Commissions.
The interview teams will be as follows:
Building Contractor Licensing Board - Wilmarth and Cassell
Commission on Disability - Elliott and Cassell
Liquor Licensing Authority - Reeves and Knezovich
Parking Commission - Clarke and Knezovich
Water Board - Horak and Wilmarth
The interviews are to take place as soon as possible with appointments to
be made on November 23.
Councilmember Clarke made a motion, seconded by Councilmember Elliott, to
adjourn the meeting to 7:30 p.m, on November 9. Yeas: Councilmembers
Cassell, Clarke, Elliott, Horak, Knezovich and Reeves. Nays: Councilmember
Wilmarth.
THE MOTION CARRIED.
The meeting adjourned at 5:40 p.m.
