Special "fleeting - 4:00 P.M.
Pursuant to the following call, a special meeting of the Council
of the City of Fort Collins was held:
CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING
Members of the City Council:
Pursuant to the request of the Mayor of the City of Fort Collins, a
special meeting of the City Council is hereby called for 4:00 P.M. ,
Tuesday, October 2, 1979, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall,
300 Laporte Avenue, Fort Collins, Colorado, for the purpose of
discussing the City's Financial Systems and any other matters
that might properly come before the Council.

Roll call was answered by the following Councilmembers:
Bowling, Gray, Kross, Reeves, St. Croix, Wilkinson and Wilmarth.
Absent: None
Staff Members Present: Arnold, Lanspery, Deagle, Harmon, Griep,
Wood, Hays, Steadman, Lee, R. Smith,
M. Smith, C: Smith, Krempel and Lewis.;
Overview of City's Financial Systems.
City manager, John Arnold, gave an overview of the Financial
Systems Improvements including a Financial Central System., a
Project ''Ianagement System; to mesh with the Central Record
Keeping System.
Assistant Director of Finance, Peter Dallow, presented the
Financial Systems orally and graphically, followed by a Project
Management System Presentation, by Assistant City Manager, Paul
Lanspery, and Assistant Public Works Director, Tom Hays. City.. -
Clerk, Verna Lewis, with the assistance of Administrative Aid II,
"lolly Davis, distributed the Records Pianagement Manual, which
has an effective date of October 1, 1979.
The remainder of the meeting was held for questions from the
City Council.
Adjournment
The meeting adjourned at 5:25 p.m.
