HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES-10/22/1985-AdjournedADJOURNED MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS October 22, 1985 6:30 p.m. An adjourned meeting of the Council of the City of Fort Collins was held on Tuesday, October 22, 1985, in the Council Chambers of the New Municipal Building, 300 West LaPorte Avenue, Fort Collins, Colorado. Roll call was answered by the following Councilmembers: Clarke, Estrada, Horak, Knezovich, Ohlson, Rutstein and Stoner. Staff Members Present: Shannon, Huisjen, Krajicek, Lewis Resolution Endorsing H.R. 3547 Designating Portions of Cache La Poudre River as Wild and Scenic and Approving Other Portions for Study for Designation as National Recreation Area Adopted Councilmember Horak made a motion, seconded by Councilmember Clarke, to adopt Resolution 85-197, Endorsing H.R. 3547 Designating Portions of the Cache La Poudre River as Wild and Scenic and Approving Other Portions for Study for Potential Designation as A National Recreation Area. Councilmember Horak spoke of the appearances by Mayor Rutstein and himself before the various congressional subcommittees and urged Council support of the Resolution. The vote on Councilmember Horak's motion to adopt Resolution 85-197 was as follows: Yeas: Councilmembers Clarke, Estrada, Horak, Knezovich, Ohlson, Rutstein and Stoner. Nays: None. THE MOTION CARRIED. Resolution Amending Resolution Appointing Citizen's Advisory Committee on the City Manager Selection, Adopted Councilmember Ohlson made a motion, seconded by Councilmember Stoner to adopt Resolution 85-198, Amending Resolution 85-193 Appointing a Citizen's Advisory Committee on the City Manager Selection. Mayor Rutstein noted that the original Resolution 85-193 appointing a Citizen's Advisory Committee needed to be amended to delete the name of Sue Walston and add the name of Janell Carlson in its place. She added Ms. ■ Walston did not reside in the Urban Growth Area. 391011 October 22, 1985 The vote on Councilmember Ohlson's motion to adopt Resolution 85-198 was as follows: Yeas: Councilmembers Clarke, Estrada, Horak, Knezovich, Ohlson, Rutstein and Stoner. Nays: None. THE MOTION CARRIED. Adjournment Councilmember Ohlson made a motion, seconded by Councilmember Stoner, to adjourn the meeting. Yeas: Councilmembers Clarke, Estrada, Horak, Knezovich, Ohlson, Rutstein and Stoner. Nays: None. The meeting adjourned at 6:40 p.m. ATTEST: City Clerk -31-
