OF THE
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
October 8, 1985
7:25 p.m.
An adjourned meeting of the Council of the City of Fort Collins was held on
Tuesday, October 8, 1985, in the Council Chambers of the New Municipal
Building, 300 West LaPorte Avenue, Fort Collins, Colorado. Roll call was
answered by the following Councilmembers: Clarke, Estrada, Horak,
Knezovich, Ohlson, Rutstein and Stoner.
Staff Members Present: Shannon, Krajicek, Huisjen, Lewis
Executive Session Authorized
Councilmember Clarke made a motion, seconded by Councilmember Estrada, to
adjourn into Executive Session to discuss personnel matters relating to the
appointment of the Interim City Manager. Yeas: Councilmembers Clarke,
Estrada, Horak, Knezovich, Ohlson, Rutstein and Stoner. Nays: None.
THE MOTION CARRIED.
Resolution Appointing an Interim City Manager, Adopted
' At the conclusion of the Executive Session, Councilmember Clarke made a
motion, seconded by Councilmember Ohlson, to adopt Resolution 85-186
appointing Rich Shannon as the Interim City Manager, inserting $65,500 as
the annual salary and authorizing an additional two weeks of vacation for
Mr. Shannon at the expiration of his term as Interim City Manager. Yeas:
Councilmembers Clarke, Estrada, Horak, Knezovich, Ohl son, Rutstein and
Stoner. Nays: None.
THE MOTION CARRIED.
Adjournment
Councilmember Knezovich made a motion, seconded by Councilmember Estrada,
to adjourn the meeting. Yeas: Councilmembers Clarke, Estrada, Horak,
Knezovich, Ohlson, Rutstein and Stoner. Nays: None.
The meeting adjourned at 8:55 p.m.
