Special Meeting - 6:00 p.m.
A special meeting of the Council of the City of Fort Collins was held on Tuesday, October 14, 1997,
at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City of Fort Collins City Hall. Roll Call was answered
by the following Councilmembers: Yeas: Councilmembers Azari, Bertschy, Byrne, Mason, Smith
and Wanner. . t
Councilmembers Absent: Kneeland.
Staff Members Present: Fischbach, Krajicek, Roy.
Resolution 97-137
Making An Appointment to the Housing Authority, Adopted.
The following is staff s memorandum on this item.
"Executive Summary
A vacancy currently exists on the Housing Authority due to the resignation of Sharon Winfree. The
Housing Authority has requested that Jeff Taylor, Community Advisor, fill the current vacancy. The
interview team has agreed to the Housing Authority request to fill said vacancy by recommending
Jeff Taylor with a term to begin immediately and to expire June 30, 1998.
The Clerk's Office will advertise for the Community Advisory vacancy during October and
November."
City Manager John Fischbach stated this meeting was called to appoint a member to the Housing
Authority to be seated before the next Housing Authority meeting on October 15, 1997.
Councilmember Smith made a motion, seconded by Councilmember Wanner, to adopt Resolution
97-137. Yeas: Councilmembers Azari, Bertschy, Byrne, Mason, Smith and Wanner. Nays: None.
THE MOTION CARRIED.
