Miautes of a regular meetiag of the City Council held on the 25th day
-of May A. D. 1914, 4 P. M. Present Commissioners Armitage and Edwards, City Atty
Frank J. Annie, Absent Commissioner Clammer. In the absence of the president
Commissioner Armitage Mayor Pro Tem presided.
On motion the minutes of May 18th were read and approved. `
Moved by Commissioner Edwards that the following resolution be adopted. seconded
by Commissioner Armitage.
Whereas it appears from a report of the Commissioner of Public Works that certain
structures are located on Willow street north and north east of the Gas Plant as
shown by the survey of the City Engineer and constitute an obstruction to said
street and without any lawful rights to be in said street, Therefore be it
Resolved by the City Council that the Commissioner of Pub lie Works be and hereby
is instructed and directed to serve notice on the owners of said structures to rem
move or cause the same to be removed all said structures within twenty (200 days
from the date of service of said notive or the city will remove said structures
and the expense thereof will be made a charge against and collected from said
owners. The roll being called resulted as follows. Ayes Commissioners Armitage
and Edwards, Nays none, Absent Commissioner Clammer. The president declared the
resolution adopted.
Moved by commissioner Edwards that the City expend $30.00 at the cemetery
for flower beds, seconded by commissioner Armitage. the roll being called re—
sulted as follows. Ayes Commissioner Armitage and Edwards . Nays none, Absent Com-
missioner Clammer. the President declared the motion adopted.
Moved by commissioner Edwards and seconded by commissioner Armitage that
the report of Commissioner Armitage in regards the release one Geo. Woolner be
approved and placed on file.
Moved by Commissioner Edward and seconded by commissioner Armitage that the
following ordinance be placed on first reading and ordered published according to
lawo

RELATING TO JEFFERSON STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1, THE CONSTRUCTION OF
IMPROVEMENTS THEREIN,. AND PROVIDING FOR THE ISSIIANCE OF BONDS TO pAY THE COST OF
CONSTRUCTION THEREOF.
The roll being called resulted ao follows. Ayes Commissioner Armitage and Edwards
Nays=none. Absent Commissioner Clammer. The president declared the motion adopted.
Moved by commissionep E4Kards and seconded by commissioner Armitage that the
Bond of Timothy E. DaAs lie accepted and,approved. The roll being called resulted
as follows. Ayes Commissioners Edwards and Armitage,Nays none, Absent Commissioner
Clammer. The president declared the Motion adopted.
Moved by commissioner Edwards and seconded by commissioner Armitage that
here-LOterwhen any bonds come up for approval under ordinance no. 6 1914 that same
be referred to City Attorney be fore brought before council.
