D. 1914. Present Samuel H. Clammer President D. C. Armitage and Alfred A. Edwards Commissioners Frank J. Annis City Attorney. On motion the reading of the minutes of the meeting held on the 9th inst. approved On motion the report of Otto Sohmohl was read accepted and ordered placed on file. On motion the following bills were allowed out of the Water Works fund General Chemical Co. 40000# Alum 335 61 Colo & Southern Railroad Co Freight 201 00 The roll being called the vote stood as follows. Ayes Commissioner Clammer, Armitage and Edwards. Nays Commissioner-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- All commissioners voting in the affirmative the motion was carried and so declared by the President. Resolved by the City Council that the Loyal Order of Moose be and hereby is requested and invited to locate the proposed sanitarium at Fort Collins, Colorado as possessing all of the advantages for such an institition and that the Council will be pleased to co- d the Committee representing the Grand Lodge of operate with the local lodge of Moose an that order to that end. On motion the following resolution was adopted. Whereas, The Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph Company has requested that the Council make an investigation with respect to the investment of said Company in its Fort Collins Plant, and the reasonableness of the charges made by said Company in said City, and has offered to pay the expense of said investi- gation, being the fees and charges of auditors to be chosen to examine the Company's books with regard to investment by the Company in Fort Collins and with regard to the cost of service rendered in said City; as well as a physical ap- praisment of the plant of said Company in Fort Collins: Now, in consideration of the said request Be it resolved, that same be granted and that J. A. C. Kissock and E. H. Hall be and are hereby appointed as auditors on behalf of the City to examine the books of said Company with regard to its local investment and local charges for service, and make a physical valuation of its Fort Collins plant, and there- upon report their findings to this Council. Their compensation being fixed at $ 5.00 per diem for each auditor for each day necessarily spent by them in the performance of their duties and their reasonable expenses, to be paid by the Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph Company, upon the approval of this Council. On motion the following ordinance was put on final passage said ordinance was amended by adding the following amendment " and for twnety one (21) weigh tickets paid for in advance the city weighman is authorized to accept one (1) dollar in full payment therefor." Ordinance # 2. 1914. AMENDING SECTIONS OF ORDINANCE NO.19 19139 PROVIDING FOR AND REGULATING PUBLIC SCALES AND FOR THE OFFICE OF CITY WEIGHER. The roll being called the vote stood as follows.
