Present President Claimer and Commissioners Armitage and Edwards. Attorney Annis. On motion the petitio for special permit from P. C. Avery to erect a conopy over the sidewalk at the rear of the Owl Drug Store was granted. file. On motion the communication from the Woman's Club was orderer' placed on On motion the Committee composed of Commission of Public Works and the Commissioner of Finance reported an Order of Business which when put to a vote was adopted. Moved by Commissioner Edwards and seconded by Commissioner Armitage that the report of the Commissioner of Public Works be accepted and the recommen- dations be accepted. The roll being called the vote stood as follows Ayes Commissioner Clammer, Armitage and Edwards Nays Commissioner- - - - - - - - - - All commissioner voting in 'the affirmative the motion was carried and so declared by the President. On motion the matter of certain residents living outside the City Limits petitioning to tap the water main on Shields Street was referred to the City Attorney and the Commissioner of Works. On motion the matter of attaching meters on Hotels was referred to the City Attorney and the Commissioner of Works. Moved by Commissioner Armitage and seconded by Commissioner Edwards that the City Clerk be instructed to settle with Kirkpatrick and Son in regards the Pine Street Sewer.Contract Moved by Commissioner Edwards and seconded by Commissioner Armitage that the following report be accepted and spread upon the records. Fort Collins, Colo, Nov, 3rd. 1913 To the City Council of the City of Fort Collins, Colo. Gentlemen: I have the honor to report that Mr. M. G. Nelson, the outdoing Treasurer Turned over to me on October 29th, 1913, the funds of the City of Fort Collins, amounting in the total to $ 47745.68. That, I immediately divided this fund into four equal amounts and deposited the sum of P 11936.42 in each of the four banks of the city, in ac- cordance with the provisions of the Charter. There was also turned over to me by Mr. Nelson the notes, mortgage and abstract in connection with the loan of $ 10000.00 to Mr. C. 0. Culver from the Perpetual Care Fund of Cemetery Fund which said papers are now in my cus- tody. Herewith attached is staement showing the balance in -the several funds of the City, as turned over to me by the outgoing Treasurer. Tespeetfully submitted A.A.
