City Council Work Session October 27, 2020 7:00 PM (After the Adjourned Council meeting, which begins at 6:00 p.m.)  CALL TO ORDER. 1. Parks and Recreation Master Plan. (staff: Honore Depew, John Stokes; 15 minute presentation; 45 minute discussion) The purpose of this item is to share the completed Parks and Recreation Master Plan and seek feedback on next steps related to sustainable system funding. An overview of the Master Plan contents and process of development will be presented by Andrew Dobshinsky, Associate Planner with The Olin Studio. Findings from financial analysis and their implications will be shared by Interim Community Services Director, John Stokes. Staff from the Park Planning and Development, Parks, and Recreation Departments will be available for discussion. 2. Homelessness Advisory Committee Findings. (staff: Honore Depew, Jackie Kozak-Theil; 12 minute presentation; 45 minute discussion) The purpose of this item is to provide Council with an overview of recommendations and considerations for homeless shelters and co-located services from the City Manager’s (Temporary) Homelessness Advisory Committee, made up of multi-sector community members and service providers, and to seek guidance on next steps.
