Excellent computer Briefly explain what you believe are the three most important issues facing this board or commission, and how do you believe this board or commission should address each issue? 1) During our meeting with Police Service for CityWorks 101 In April 2015, I asked what the biggest misconception to the public was that they wished to overcome. The answer was that, "police are jerks." While I know that statement is not at all true, an issue is increasing public support of police officers in our community. This issue can be addressed by continuing the rigid moral standards expected of our police services while having them interact in informing and engaging ways that increases trust, cooperation and respect. 2) The second issue I believe would be funding issues due to growth. According to growth expectations, the police force will have to substantially grow as well. Funding issues are always front and centerwith any change like this and I hope to provide insight from an open minded but logical perspective. 3) The third issue would be improving procedures and responses through friendly enforcement. As a previous Consolidated Assistance Review and Evaluation (CARE) Team member in my Agency, we performed friendly audits on functional areas within our departments. No one wants to be audited, but we tried to go in to the situations by saying that we were there to help, offer best practices, and help improve communication and procedures for their office.
