SUBJECT
Resolution 2019-027 Making a Change to the Legislative Review Committee Council Appointment Made in
Resolution 2019-021.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The purpose of this item is to modify the Council appointment to the Legislative Review Committee (LRC)
through Resolution 2019-021, adopted on February 5, 2019. Councilmember Ross Cunniff will be appointed to
the Legislative Review Committee and Councilmember Susan Gutowsky will be appointed as the alternate.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends adoption of the Resolution.
BACKGROUND / DISCUSSION
On May 23, 2017, Councilmember Ross Cunniff was appointed as an alternate to the Legislative Review
Committee through Resolution 2017-049.
On February 5, 2019, Resolution 2019-021 Making Council Liaison, Council Committee and City
Representative Appointments to Fill Vacancies Left by the Resignation of Former Councilmember Bob
Overbeck was adopted. That Resolution appointed Councilmember Susan Gutowsky to the Legislative
Review Committee (LRC). With the support of Councilmembers Gutowsky and Cunniff, Council wishes to
instead appoint Councilmember Cunniff to the LRC and to appoint Councilmember Gutowsky to the alternate
role.

OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
MAKING A CHANGE TO THE LEGISLATIVE
REVIEW COMMITTEE COUNCIL APPOINTMENT MADE IN RESOLUTION 2019-021
WHEREAS, on February 5, 2019, the Council adopted Resolution 2019-021, appointing
Councilmember Susan Gutowsky to serve as the Council Liaison or Representative on several
Boards and Commissions, Authorities and Committees, including the Legislative Review
Committee; and
WHEREAS, Councilmember Ross Cunniff has been serving as the alternate on the
Legislative Committee since 2017; and
WHEREAS, with the support of Councilmembers Gutowsky and Cunniff, Council
desires to modify the appointments by instead appointing Councilmember Ross Cunniff to the
Legislative Review Committee and Councilmember Susan Gutowski to the alternate position for
that Commitee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT COLLINS, that the appointment to the Legislative Review Committee made in Resolution
2019-021 is hereby modified, to instead appoint Councilmember Ross Cunniff to serve on the
Legislative Review Committee, and to appoint Councilmember Susan Gutowsky as the alternate
for that Committee.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort Collins this
19th day of February, A.D. 2019.
