CALL TO ORDER.
1. Environmental Services Department Strategic Plan. (staff: Lucinda Smith; 15 minute staff
presentation; 30 minute discussion)
The purpose of this item is to provide City Council with an update on the development of the
Environmental Services Department Strategic Plan and to receive input from City Council about the
direction of the draft plan. The draft plan includes goals and strategies, organized around five
themes, to guide the Environmental Services Department’s work:
Climate Commitment
Be Air Aware
Road to Zero Waste
Lead by Example
Collaborate and Act Regionally
