WHEREAS, Quota Club International, Inc. is one of the oldest international service
organizations for women and now has more than 5,600 members in 12 countries; and
WHEREAS, the members of Quota International of Fort Collins are empowering
women, children, the deaf, hard of hearing and speech-impaired in our local community and
around the world; and
WHEREAS, following Quota’s motto of “We Share”, Quota club members change lives,
make lifelong friendships, encourage others, promote international understanding, and have fun
doing it; and
WHEREAS, the first Quota International club started its service in Buffalo, New York,
USA, in 1919; and
WHEREAS, Quota International celebrated the 75th Anniversary of the founding of the
Fort Collins Chapter on June 18, 1940.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Wade Troxell, Mayor of the City of Fort Collins, do hereby
proclaim the year of 2015 as
QUOTA INTERNATIONAL, FORT COLLINS CHAPTER
75TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
to recognize the contributions and service that Quota of Fort Collins brings to this community.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and the seal of the City of Fort
Collins this 18th day of August, A.D. 2015.
