Harmony Road Enhanced Travel Corridor Alternatives Analysis. (staff: Aaron Iverson; 1 hour discussion) The purpose of this work session is to brief City Council on the status of the Harmony Road Enhanced Travel Corridor Alternatives Analysis. City Council was provided with an update memo in February discussing the start and intent of the study. Since that time, the project team looked at existing conditions, modeled future traffic conditions, developed a vision and goals for the study, conducted the first public outreach, and began the development of future concepts for Harmony Road. 3. Water Supply and Demand Management Policy Update. (staff: Donnie Dustin, Kevin Gertig; 1 hour discussion) Utilities staff has been working to update the City’s Water Supply and Demand Management Policy. Much of the work on the Policy update was performed in 2011, which included gathering input from a Community Working Group (CWG), Water Board and others. At the January 10, 2012 work session, City Council did not feel the Policy August 28, 2012 update was ready for formal adoption. Concerns were mostly related to the water supply planning criteria values. Staff has worked to more clearly describe these criteria, and has discussed various options for adjusting them with the Water Board. In addition to addressing the criteria, the updated Policy continues the objective of providing a reliable supply of water while managing the level of demand, and has added provisions to guide the Utilities in being more sustainable with this valuable resource. 4.
