Please call 221-6515 (TDD 224- 6001) for assistance. WORK SESSION October 26, 2010 6:00 p.m. Call Meeting to Order. 2. Presentation of the City Manager's 2011-2012 Recommended Budget. (staff: Darin Atteberry, Mike Freeman; 1 hour discussion) The City Manager's 2011-2012 Recommended Budget was delivered to City Council on September 3, 2010. Since September 3rd, the City Council has had a series of work sessions to hear details included in the recommended Budget and two public hearings to gather input from the community. For the October 26, 2010 Work Session, staff will present summary information to Council and solicit any additional feedback from Council. 3. Plan Fort Collins: Phase 3 — Sustainabili1y Update, Transportation Master Plan Update, and Priority Actions and Strategies. (staff: Joe Frank, Kathleen Bracke; 2 hour discussion) Phase 3 is the last phase of the Plan Fort Collins planning process. Phase 3 consists of the following three major tasks: 1. preparation of draft Plan documents and monitoring tools 2. preparation of the priority implementation actions and strategies 3. preparation of select implementation items following adoption of the Plans. The main purposes of the October 26 Work Session will be to provide the City Council with: 1. an update on the sustainability process of Plan Fort Collins 2. an update on the Transportation Master Plan, including the Master Street Plan, Capital Improvement Plan and Pedestrian Plan elements 3. a review of the Priority Actions and Strategies that will be adopted concurrently with the updates to City Plan and.the Transportation Master Plan. The update to the sustainability process will include information on the progress made so far and how remaining activities align with the overall Plan Fort Collins schedule. The review of the Transportation Master Plan will include highlights of the Master Street Plan, Capital Improvement Plan, and Pedestrian Plan. The review of the Priority Actions and Strategies will focus Council discussion on issues of concern and identification of any missing implementation actions. Draft Plan documents will be available in November for review by the community, boards and commissions, and City Council. 4. Other Business. 5. Adjournment.
