PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, Fort Collins Breakfast Rotary Club has provided service to the Fort Collins
community since May 11, 1989 and fosters the value of service above self; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Rotary International's declaration of 2007-2008 as
Literacy Year, the Fort Collins Breakfast Rotary Club is working towards the goal of providing a
dictionary to every third grade student in Poudre School District; and
WHEREAS, to accomplish this goal, Fort Collins Breakfast Rotary Club is raising money
through the sale of Colorado grown peaches.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Doug Hutchinson, Mayor of the City of Fort Collins, do hereby
proclaim August 25, 2007 as
FORT COLLINS BREAKFAST ROTARY CLUB
PEACH DAY
in the city of Fort Collins and urge all citizens of our community to give full regard to the past and
continuing service of the Fort Collins Breakfast Rotary Club and recognize the benefits of this
program to the children of our community.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, 1, have hereunto set my hand and the seal of the City of Fort
