RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends adoption of the Resolution. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY A vacancy currently exists on the Citizen Review Board which was not filled during the annual appointment process. Applications were solicited and City Manager Darin Atteberry and Councilmembers Diggs Brown and Ben Manvel conducted interviews. The interview team is recommending Anne Berry to fill the vacancy with a term to begin immediately and set to expire on December 31, 2010. Vacancies currently exist on the Commission on Disability due to the resignation of William Livingston-Holt and the vacancy which was not filled during the annual appointment process. Applications were solicited and Mayor Doug Hutchinson and Councilmember Karen Weitkunat conducted interviews. The Board should be a source of information for the people of Fort Collins regarding the actions philosophy, and mechanics of the police department. It should also provide an avenue for the citizenry to give feedback to the police department regarding reasonable guidelines of police methods.
